Hierarchy of six

This week I read Seth Godin's post about the hierarchy of success here and it made me think. For those of you who want to see the list now it goes as follows, with the most important at the top-

Attitude
Approach
Goals
Strategy
Tactics
Execution

This can be expanded to meet all areas of business.

Joe works at a small independent bakery and wants a promotion. Is he better off coming in an hour early and being proactive by sourcing new markets for the bakery? Or is he better off spending his time on figuring out how to get the icing on the cupcakes just so?
